Why do I need to provide the geographical location of my sightings?

The geographical location of your sightings provide more context to your observations and can be of great help in making the correct species identification. It can also be of great use in monitoring the reach of a species.

Important: In the case of wildlife that is at risk of being poached, never include the precise location. Rather only indicate the greater region where it was spotted.
